SHA announces decision regarding the issue of team officials wearing helmets for on-ice activities
Regina – The Saskatchewan Hockey Association Board of Directors have made the following decision regarding the issue of team officials wearing helmets for on-ice activities;
“The Saskatchewan Hockey Association Board of Directors recommends that all registered team officials wear helmets during all on-ice activities that a registered team official participates in.”
The SHA sees this as an important step in the education of team officials to undertake a Risk and Safety Management initiative to protect individuals during on-ice activities.
